WELCOME TO STAR VALLEY UNITED CHURCH

Star Valley United Church is located on the north edge of Thayne, Wyoming, centrally located to serve the Christian faith needs of the whole valley.  We call our congregation the Warm Heart in the Center of the Valley, because that’s what you’ll find here.

You are welcome regardless of your position, status, or how you identify yourself.  We are actively engaged in journeying with Jesus Christ for mission, service, spiritual growth, and community.  If you are seeking, we have a place.  If you are solid in your faith, we have a place.  If you want to discover a special congregation, we have a place.

Stars Valley United Church is a congregation united under the charter of two denominations, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), and the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America (PCUSA).  We are the only mainline Protestant church in the valley.  Started more than a quarter century ago by the desire and determination of several residents of the valley, we have always cherished an understanding that differing Protestant churches can come together for the common goals, while differing on particulars.  The result is a congregation that has several denominations represented in our attendance and history, but sharing a common search for living our lives as Jesus teaches, without getting stuck on differences.  We’d like you to join us!
